The CrossFit PTBO Weightlifting Club runs three times a week and is a continuous program. Each session runs for one hour and focuses on the Snatch, Clean and Jerk, and any other work that is related. For beginners, it is required to complete our Weightlifting Foundations before entering into our program.
Our Club is registered with the OWA (Ontario Weightlifting Association). It is not required to have a CrossFit membership in order to be part of the Weightlifting Club.
You are only competing with yourself - setting goals, achieving them, and repeat.
We will be there to give you one-on-one attention in a group setting to ensure safety, and proper technique and form.
All athletes are there to support one another and to lift each other up (not literally).
For some, being a Olympic weightlifter and part of the club is medicine for anxiety, osteoporosis (building bone density), and overall strength.
